Face Mask with Replaceable Filter Element. This Mask can be sanitized by removing the used filter, washing the housing with soap and water and installing new 40 mm Filter Element. Designed for 3-D printing on basic home type FDM 3-D printers. This mask is made up of Four primary 3-D printed parts: Mask Body, Filter Housing, Filter Retaining Screw Cap & Filter Retaining Plate. & Four 3-D printed Snap-in Elastic Band Adjusters. These parts are intended to be printed from common PLA, with no support, no brim, no raft. Place each of the primary parts so its largest flat surface is facing against the print table. Print the 4 Snap-in Adjusters as a separate print job. Additionally required for each unit are: One 40mm Circular Filter Element Two pieces of ¾ inch wide Elastic Band The Filter Housing is designed to be glued to the Mask Body. I use Methylene Chloride and solvent weld these parts together. Apply a small amount to each surface to be joined, using a small brush. Carefully align and press together firmly for a few seconds.
