Face Shield with Printed Strap

Update - 04/20: Revised strap design (again) to make insertion (even) easier. Make sure you have your retraction settings tuned to avoid stringing.

Update: Added a brim to the visor portion of the face shield to remedy issues with bed adhesion and warping. Modified the strap to make the pegs slightly smaller, providing an easier assembly. I also now suggest printing the strap at 25% infill to give the pegs more rigidity.

The cumulative print time for mask + strap is 1 hr 15m. Assembly takes 1 minute or less. No laser cutter or elastic bands are required.


A remix of the great face shield design by HanochH. This version includes a strap that can be printed using TPU or other flexible filament. Extended the arms of the shield and added more holes for sizing adjustment in combination with the strap. Just add an acetate sheet (projector transparencies work great) and you're good to go. No other supplies required.
