For the holidays, I wanted to hang fairy lights on my windows, but the included suction cups kept falling off. To solve this, I designed a simple wall mount that can be screwed directly into the wooden window frame for a secure and reliable hold.The mount is designed for 3 mm screws. Be careful not to overtighten the screws—the print isn’t extremely strong, but it’s more than sturdy enough to hold fairy lights when installed properly.I printed 8 mounts in about 20 minutes using PETG, which worked great for strength and a bit of flexibility.Printing NotesMaterial: PETG (PLA should also work for indoor use)Fast print, minimal materialNo supports neededPerfect for holiday decorations or any lightweight string lights that need a more dependable mounting solution than suction cups.
