Messed around with some interesting generation capabilities and came up with this for a previous D&D session, it's a stalagmite/crystal cavern themed dice tray for rolling those clacky math rocks.
The one in the example is printed in RGB tri-color silk PLA, 0.2mm layers and 10% gyroid fill with 1.2mm walls; no supports or brim needed if your bed has good adhesion.
Original concept image was generated in microsoft copilot, that image was tossed into a local instance of comfyui and run through Hunyuan image to 3d workflow to generate an .stl from the image. It needed some cleanup which was done in meshmixer, but was effectively generated with AI tools.
If you want to dive in to doing similar projects, reddits /r/comfyui has information and workflows, you'll need a beefy GPU (7900xtx, RTX 4080/90/etc.) or cloud-based GPU infrastructure to run it since a model like this takes around 16GB of VRAM on your GPU.
It's great for landscapes but still struggles with small details on character m
