Farmtek Timer Protective Cover

This cover helps increase protection against impact, rain, and sun for Farmtek timers. The main feature are crumple zones designed to absorb impact forces and help improve the chance that a timer will survive an impact with no or minimal damage. There's also a rain visor for keeping water off the timer with a diversion channel to push rain to the sides and reduce dripping directly in front of the beam.

A breakaway tripod spacer is also included in the model. This is designed to act as a mechanical fuse in a collision to disconnect the time from the tripod to prevent damage to the timer through the tripod mount. There is a thin slot to allow extraction of the remaining bit with with a pocketknife screwdriver.

The Farmtek timers insert from the rear and are held in-place by spring clips. Important: Press the squares on the back of the cover to unlatch the spring barbs to allow insertion/removal. They're designed to spring back and latch in place to help keep the time from sliding o
