I did not like any of the parametric golf balls I was able to find, so I designed my own. This uses the fibonacci lattice to distribute points on the surface of a sphere in a relatively even way.
The included STL has a diameter of 42.7mm, dimple diameter of 3.5mm, and dimple depth of 0.18mm. 360 dimples fit with these parameters and no overlap.
Render time on my 5900x is 55 minutes at the stock settings.
Update 2/15 - Added a lower-poly (but smoother) version using the excellent geodesic_sphere from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1484333
