Fidget Car Challenge

This project is intended for upper elementary aged students using the engineering design, 3D software programs, and 3D printing.

The Problem
You are going to Florida! You have to catch a flight departing from the nearest airport. You are running
late, but your fidget car will take you! You need to quickly modify it for speed and strength since it
needs to carry your luggage.
The Challenge
You will modify a fidget car or skateboard so it has speed , strength and a method of propulsion . Create
a blueprint of your design. You will race to the airport, with your luggage, on a track using the method of
propulsion that you have chosen.
Criteria and Constraints
● The 2D design must be included with labels and measurements.
● You will need to use the stock parts to build a basic chassis, which can be
modified.
● The method of propulsion may be made with stock parts, the 3D printer or
with any other materials available to you.
