After getting tired of holding figs by the base and trying to paint them. I found a nice painting stand by lasivian. Since then, I have had ideas to improve upon it and create a total system. After using the first one of this new design on a few projects and finding it helpful, I feel it is time to share it.
Included is a slightly modified plate that is similar to lasivian's original design, as well as my redesign that changes the base plate to have guides that hold 28mm,32mm and, 40mm bases. You can use tape, poster putty, or rubber bands to hold down figures that are already based. There are holes through the plates to allow for paper clipped figs and bits to be attached to each one. I have not tried it, but believe a total of 40 or 50 figures could be paper clipped to the plates and sprayed on the rack at once. When printing these plates it is highly recommended you do not use supports, this may differ depending upon your 3dprinter.
You will need at least 21 8mmx3mm round mag
