Based on the excellent Sample Filament Can by JimmyShawsTidbits.

Jimmy's can works good for filament samples but seemed a bit too small in diameter and too deep for the MakerBox samples.
This design is thinner, has large openings in the ends to monitor the filament inside, uses a drum with a cover and a center pivot that snaps in to hold everything together.
