I use it on a Wanhao D12 whose reel support is made of 1.8 mm thick sheet metal.
My printer has an end of filament detector that serves as a guide. But for nearly full spools, it is useless and is more difficult to thread and less nice than the hand.
The hand slot is slightly thicker. If it moves too much, just wedge with a bit of tape.

Je l'utilise sur une Wanhao D12 dont le support de bobine est en tôle d'épaisseur 1,8 mm.
Mon imprimante possède un détecteur de fin de filament qui sert de guide. Mais pour des bobines presque pleine, il ne sert à rien et est plus difficile à enfiler et moins sympa que la main.
La fente de la main est légèrement plus épaisse. Si ça bouge de trop, il suffit de caler avec un peut de scotch.
