This is a great printable upgrade for the BIQU B1.
Here is what it does:
-Guides filament - prevents wearing a groove in the sensor.
-Moves filament sensor away from the extruder - this helps a lot when you run out of filament mid print, as it is easier to remove, rather than trying to reverse the filament back through the sensor (which usually gets caught up).
-Cable management - keeps the cables pointing towards the back of the printer, rather than out of the side.
To do this you will need:
1x) M3x17 bolt (or longer)
1x) M3x8 bolt (or longer)
2x) M3 nuts
1x) 608ZZ skateboard bearing
This isn't necessary, but for ultimate convenience, I would recommend adjusting your firmware (configuration.h):
#define FILAMENT_RUNOUT_DISTANCE_MM 25
This will extrude 25mm of filament after the switch is triggered, meaning the end comes completely out of the sensor, which makes unloading the filament easier.
What you need to print:
1x base
1x roller
2x top hats
Thanks, hope y
