Filament Guide

Update: New model .stl file uploaded on April 27, 2021. Model is almost same but the new .stl model is one solid piece, instead of 3 separate ones. This strengthens the model at possible weak points as pointed out by SaltySteel in the comments below. If you have already printed this thing and have not had any problems there is no need to re-print it again. This thing is not used to support a lot of weight. It only guides the filament.

I modified Matt's design; made it thicker to add stiffness. Elongated the ring and added a diagonal slot to make it easy to insert filament. I first used a vertical slot, but the filament would on occasion slip out of the ring. Moved the main support rail to right side of grip-rectangle because it was too close to my Z-Axis wheel knob. Elongated right side of grip-rectangle to extend to front edge of the top rail. On the Ender 3 Pro the mounting screws for the filament spool holder prevented the grip-rectangle from sitting all the way down flush with t
