When I moved my 3D printer into a cabinet, the filament reels were relocated to the top of the new cabinet. The filament spools through the cabinet roof into the printer.
The cabinet is metal with 1mm panels and has had a 12mm hole drilled through the metal for the filament to pass through. This 3D printed model provides a smooth path through the cabinet roof hole. The model has two parts, a smooth upper section and held in-place by a M12 3D printed nut.
My print is made in PETG 1.75mm 3DFillies black filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
I hope you can find this print useful, too.
