Filament Rack

This model is the bracket for a filament rack. This filament rack is designed to fit almost all sizes of filament spool from 500 gram to 3 kg. This conveniently only needs two screws per bracket in order to securely hold the filament. Follow the following directions in order to achieve the most success in making this filament rack:Print roughly 1 bracket per foot of rack you would like (each foot holds 3-4 spools).When installing the brackets, mount in studs wherever possible, elsewhere use wall anchors accordingly to achieve strength and longevity in the rack.Drill out the holes for the dowel rods using a 3/8ths" drill bit in order to ensure snug fit of the dowel rods. Use standard 3/8ths inch dowel rods to connect the brackets together.A little flexibility is normal with this design in the dowel rods. I used PLA and it has lasted for around 3 years without any problems, and holds filament in a and out of the box.
