filament sensor bracket CR10S

The filament sensor for the CR10S is a snap on fit, which is not well secured! Especially on retractions I had the feeling this could be a problem and since you cannot watch the printer all the time, I decided to change that. This mod screws the filament sensor onto the x-carriage of the printer and guarantees a secure fit for the filament to come in and for the filament sensor.

This addon uses only stock parts! The screws of the x-carriage are long enough to fit this special clip. The filament sensor TOP (only) of the CR10S is reused in this one! To close it, just put in the screws and slowly turn the screws with a little bit of pressure. Just be sure to keep the screws aligned - and that's it!

I printed it with the handles (two screw-holes) facing the bed, thus the sensor housing is "standing". I used a 5 line skirt and since I am a nerd I really wanted 0.12mm layer height. It should be absolutely fine at about 0.2mm!
