In the vibrant world of 3D printing, where creativity and innovation go hand in hand, I encountered a frustrating problem: organizing my filaments. I searched everywhere for a filament rack that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing, but my search proved fruitless. The existing solutions were either too complex, too ugly, or both. Driven by my passion for 3D printing and product design background, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I grabbed my drawing tools and started sketching. My goal was to design a filament rack that was not only practical but also a feast for the eyes. Here you can see my result; The rack consists mostly of 3D-printed parts, making it customizable and easy to reproduce. The only additional parts are some simple sticks, screws, and plugs. The connections are beautifully concealed by a sliding system, and covers. The pattern matches the pattern in the Bambu Lab rolls.
