Filament Splicing Jig

This splicing jig makes quick work of joining filament ends. Use a soldering iron tip to melt the ends of the filament segments and then shove together for a perfectly aligned joint. Then clean up the joint with file, razor blade or utility knife. I've printed this in PLA and use it for splicing PLA filament - which surprisingly, does not stick to the jig. See how to use it here:
