Filament spool clock
I just want to fing some usage of empty filament spool, so i have designed this clock:)
This is only one digit, for complete clock you will need four of them at least.
But it is very cool when it spins:)
There is two Neopixels inside, but it looks it is not enough, you can barelly see if they are ON or OFF, but it is cool without them as well.
White digit background are glued inside of digit wheel.
Some numbers parts are glued to this white background as well.
Fusion360 file included so you can modify it easily.
I Have added one optical endstop for automatic home(zero) position.
And with ball bearings and TMC2100 stepper driver it is very quiet when the whell is moving!
If you will make all four digits and connect to arduino with RTC board let me know absolutely!
