Filament Spool Holder

Spotting a need for a spool holder when I was printing, I found a large roll of solder and a desoldering sucker tool, made a pretty good spool (On its side) holder. Well, until I needed the solder...

Which prompted the thought, why not use other filament reels as the base and go from there.

Designed around using a 17-18mm pole for the centre support (a little dependant on how accurate your printer is), I had a couple lying around as per the photo. This is a plastic pipe from a broken kids toy.

The video shows this in action, the print was one of the printer tests from majda107, which the print failed spectacularly. The spool holder, however, worked a treat!
