Filament Usage Meter

With this tool you can measure the filament used in meters, I wanted to know if I can came up with something to measure the filament used and note the meters I used for certain spool I use.

After long search I found a fishing line depth gauge, ordered one and deigned a housing for it, you can use your 4mm outer diameter filament tube, there is no need to drill a hole, there is a little drag from the tool but it is not that much. If your printer don’t print accurate just drill the holes, the inner holes are 2mm.

There is no need for supports, print in same orientation as I put it in the STL file.

If you already have extruder skipping problems, this probably won’t work for you, if you want to try go with a small print just to test.
