Makes
This contraption makes cleaning pool cartridge filters fun and easy. You don't have to keep turning the filter, and some of the debris gets flung out.
**Printing:**
Print the cones with the small end down.
**Assembly:**
Insert the bearings into the cones and superglue them in. Flatten one end of the axle in a vice, as then it will go into the ground more easily and not fill up with dirt. Hammer the axle into the ground, leaving space for your filter and cones above. Then apply the hose clamp to support the bottom cone. Add the filter on top, then the top cone, then use the 2nd hose clamp to lock the thing together.
**Usage:**
Squirt the sides of the filter with a garden hose. Vary the position of the hose to adjust the speed of rotation. You'll still need to clean out any gunk that gets deep into the crevices separately, but this will still save time.
**Caution:**
Don't go crazy. You don't want to damage the filter. Don't use use a pressure washer.
**Parts List:**
* 3D printed
