Finder Scope

**Update (18_3_23) Just working on an even shorter design. Just printing now as I type this, which will have a sperate dew shield.
*** The support - amended. The base needed a little widening :) Sorry if you already printed, just add a bit of tape, and it'll work just fine :)

This is a test scope. Still a work in progress. However works very well with crisp sharp images.
I bought a 'condition - not working - Tamron 70-300mm EF canon lens. Can get them on eBay for between £9 - £18... I got 3 for 9 each.
Just take out the front element. Two lens together within the lens holder. Just use that (don't split them, they work very well together. I split them to begin with to see the difference on the focal length. It made the length longer but the colour aberration without the second lens was shocking So I put it back in the black holder.. I use a 24mm eyepiece and also a camera in the eyepiece.
Image is very sharp and crystal clear!
