The board is, of course, from a 'real' chess set such as [this](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098JYCLCG)
Thank you to [NNOTM](https://www.blendswap.com/profile/405676) for the [basemesh](https://www.blendswap.com/blend/15887), remixed to be roughly modeled after my own hand. Inspired, in part, by [Dali's](https://archive.thedali.org/mwebcgi/mweb.exe?request=record;id=377;type=101).
Printed in SLA. I tried to use partial hollowing to change the center of mass, but note to resin printers, it might be best to add a 2nd hole somewhere near the top of the hollow pieces. Letting the resin slowly drain out of the bottom was an inconsistent process - I imagine it would work much better if there was a 2nd hole to allow air to replace the cavity, and more easily 'flush' the uncured resin out.
Note: there is an interesting conversation
