First Alert Wiring Base

I wanted a free-standing, wired Smoke / Carbon Monoxide Detector. I purchased the First Alert SC7010BV, and created a base for it to contain the AC plug wiring. A little hot melt glue holds the base onto the removable base from the detector. The wiring is connected, and then the detector is rotated on as usual.
