First responder door jam

This is my design of a door jam similar to what first responders use to hold doors open. I intended to print in tpu but have yet to get that far with this project. There are two different models included that I have been testing with. I currently like the three hole version. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I am still learning as this is my first printer.


This is intended for TPU, I have not tested with that material yet. With PLA the higher the infill the stronger it is but the less flex it has. I find that if you print this with PLA start at %50. If you find the door jam to be not flexible enough reduce infill by a small percentage. If you do to low when the door is slammed onto the door jam it will snap. If the infill is to dense it will not flex enough to fit a door without scratching it.
