A decoratve cover for the filter pipe on my pond with an additional hose to connect to a 10mm Cu pipe.
Head printed in clear NinjaFlex, tail to be printed. I intend to experiment with injecting paint into the infiltration cavity.
To get a 'nice' number of perimeters on the hose set your slicer to get an extrusion width of 0.75 (Print/Advanced in Slic3r).
OpenSCAD files:
PondHose-fishy - the main object file, you can change diameters and stuff in here.
thread_calc & printer_settings give you the ability to make things a set number of threads wide using the standard rectangle+2semicircle model.
rodsandholes - a set of functions to set the diameter and number of sides of a cylinder to be the correct internal or external diamiter for a rod or a hole
metric_sizes - a set of numbers which do holes for metric bolts and nuts.
