This is my fisher pyraminx. I have long wondered if it would be possible to apply the concept of a fisher cube to a pyraminx and was unable to find any examples of it having been done before. After a recent discussion in the puzzle makers Discord channel, I decided to finally design one for myself. The process behind “fishering” a cube entails rotating the puzzle’s cuts around its central axis by 45º (half of one 90º turn), so because the pyraminx turns in increments of 120º, “fishering” it would imply rotating the cuts by 60º around the central axis, which is what I have done. Due to the nature of the puzzle, the cuts are required to be curved, but I feel that it adds a nice aesthetic.
