If you have this amplifier and have ever had to change the battery, you know what a chore it is. Fishman definitely did NOT design this for easy battery access!
I decided to cut an access hole out of the bottom below where the battery mount sits so I could have direct access to the battery, then designed a panel to cover it. This allows the use of the original bolts, so no new hardware is required. The battery wires are a tight fit, so I extended them to make it easy to remove the panel, allow the battery to drop down, and then the battery leads are easy to get to.
Note that this will leave a gap of 11 mm below the battery, so you can cut a piece of foam to fill the gap. I will post another version with a built in spacer.
