This is a DIY fix form those flaky headphone pads. The 3D-printed ring may need to have a different shape to fit your headphones, but it is easily customizable.
This is what you'll need:
- 3D printer and filament to print the ring
- 2 socks, it is best that you use new ones, they aren't expensive
- Instant glue
- Scissors
This is how you fix your flaky headphone pads:
Step 1: Once you've printed the ring and it fits inside the headphone pads you take a sock, cut the part that you need off of it and glue one end to the ring. (just use some instant glue)
Step 2: Turn the sock around the ring so that it is inside out.
Step 3: Put the ring inside the headphone pad so that it fits snuggly.
Step 4: Turn the sock around the ear piece so that the outside of the sock is on the outside again.
Step 5: Roll up the excess of the sock.
Finished!
The socks can be pulled off the headphones and washed if needed!
