Flaming love

I designed this piece to be a light up for valentines day. I used white filament with a multi color tea light but it has the capability to use almost any type of light. When making a light up piece you need a lighter color otherwise the light won't shine through. I am painting it with transparent paint to make the flames look realistic. The heart is flames inside the heart on one side if has two people kissing in the flames. On the other side it has a saying about love with fire. This could be printed as a gift for any partner. It is not gender specific. I hope you enjoy the piece as much as I enjoyed creating it.When setting up the print make sure you do a lower layer height the lower the better it is going to show up. The one I printed I did a .16 layer height. I did 3 walls and only ten percent infill. I set my prints up at a higher z distance this makes the supports easier to remove. For instance for a .16 layer height I do a .20 or higher Z distance. It also helps if you up the interface layers. I also use the supports as hollow but each person may use different settings. If you decide to paint this make sure you are using paints that will allow light to shine through. I use transparent airbrush paints and make sure the layers are thin enough that the light shows. If you want to show definition in painting you can use darker colors or less translucent paint in the areas you want to be darker with the light. I hope you enjoy this piece.
