Flange Coupling

A flange coupling is a mechanical device used to connect two shafts together at their ends for transmitting torque. It consists of two flanges, each attached to the end of a shaft, which are bolted together with a gasket in between to create a tight seal. The flanges are usually made of steel or cast iron, and can have various shapes such as flat, raised, or recessed.
