I have been having issues printing larger objects on my new Flashforge Adventurer 3, it would stick in some areas but not in others so I wanted to be able to get a dial indicator attached to the print head in order to be able to verify if the bed was flat or not so I designed an adapter that fits in the print head just like the hot end. Just remove the filament and the hot end by pinching the two clips in the front of the print head and replace it with this printed adapter. I have a .250 diameter post, which is what most indicators use, so if you need a different diameter I am also including the SolidWorks part file as well.
I did find that my print bed has a crown in the very center and drops off .254mm (.010in) in the back left and .20mm (.008in) and it positions the head centered in the plate to set the Z and if I set it correctly there it's too high in the corners and if I set it closer then it causes the bottom fill to push up in the middles. At least now I know why now I need
