FlatMinis: Warrior in mail

While he might look as a Norman knight on foot, this is actually Sigismund, fetchling paladin of Erelm Brimirsdräpe and acting ambassador of the fetchling-realm of Talheim. He's a bit poor right now, so he has settled for mail armour until proper plate can be acquired. Until then, he wields a more defensive sword-and-shield combo instead of a great weapon. Why he chooses to go without a helm is, however, beyond me. The mail didn't come out all that great (though it would probably be improved with some cleaning with a sharp knife) but I think it gets the job down. My printer has trouble printing without rafts, without one the shield would probably have been smoother.
