Flex gripper

As most plastics, ABS is flexible and relatively tough. My concept, although deviates slightly from the requirements as it doesn’t incorporate the MS33601B rail, does make the handrail clamp assembly a very simple one part solution that can be left on the device that needs to be mounted. Being small and inexpensive to print, each device or arm can have its own plastic gripper making mounting to the rail quick, effortless, and one handed operation. I’ve printed the rail horizontally so that the “Z” steps don’t interfere with the testing of the part (others who printed both parts in the same orientation have false results because the steps catch on each other making it seem much more robust.) As for the gripper, it doesn't need any supports and prints without any issues. Once the stud is installed, simply slide the gripper on the rail and tighten the nut. By tightening the nut, the gripper flexes shut clamping the rail with enough force to firmly attach to the rail. The gripper dimensions can be adjusted as needed to match actual stud and washer used. I used estimated sizes for my design.
