Flex SpringSteel Bed

I purchased two (2) 10 inch blue steel taping knifes from our local harbor freight store. Paid about $8 total. I removed the handle from both knifes. I then removed the knifes from the aluminum track. I was careful not to destroy the track. I lined up two (2) knifes together attached one of the tracks to one end and clamped them down. I then drilled holes through the aluminum track and through the blue steel knives. I used a hand riveter I had on hand to secure rivets. I cut off a little of the other end as it will be to long to fit in your Da Vinci 1.0A. It will hit the filament box. I glued a bunch of magnets under the bed frame. I love this thing. After many many prints, I think it's a good flexible bed.

*Not all the taping knifes are real spring steel. You have to flex them to make sure. Some are just regular steel.
