This is my take on an Ankylosaurus! I have a few other prehistoric animals on my profile as well. I thought a geometric design would show off the armored look.A bit about AnkylosaurusThe ankylosaurus lived during the Cretaceous era, around 68-66 million years ago. The ankylosaurus is most well-known for its imposing armor and tail club. Despite being famous, no complete skeletons have been found, so estimates of size and the exact armor arrangement vary. The general estimates point to ankylosaurus being 6-8 meters long, 4.8-8 tons, and around 2m tall. The armor involved knobs and plates of bone (called osteoderms) embedded in the skin, which were generally flatter than other ankylosaurids. A unique feature of this armor from other ankylosaurids is that the ankylosaurus had cushion-like fibers under the hollowed osteoderms, allowing for impacts to be absorbed instead of just blocked by solid bone. This allowed for much more durable armor. The tail club was actually just modified osteoderm
