These 3D-printed flexible Christmas trees are designed as single-piece articulated models that allow free movement of the arms and legs without any additional assembly. Thanks to the segmented structure of the crown, the models are flexible enough to sit on the edge of a glass, candle holder, or shelf while still remaining stable. The prints were made using the FDM method with a layer height of approximately 0.2 mm, which is slightly visible on the surface and gives the trees the characteristic look of 3D printing. The models are printed from PLA, making them light, sturdy, and ideal for decorative use.The articulated sections are designed to print without supports, and the tolerances between segments allow smooth movement right off the build plate. This means the trees are fully functional immediately after printing — no post-processing or adjustments needed.
