Flexible Flange Coupling

A Flexible Flange Coupling is a mechanical component used to connect two different shafts for transmission for power. Unlike Rigid Flange Coupling which doesn't allow for any kind of misalignment, Flexible Flange Coupling can tolerate an angular misalignment upto 0.5 degrees and radial misalignment of 0.5mm in general case scenario that are designed for high power transmission. A bonus feature is that it is effective in reducing vibration because of the absorbtion of some amount of vibration while the transmission of power through the rubber bushes. Flexible Flange Coupling is widely used industries to link motor with other driven components. In this drawing a total power of 20kW can be transmitted via this coupling @ 1500 RPM
