Suitable for 28mm and 32mm models. Can be resized to work with larger models. Prints in under 1 minute.
The model prints flat, this is so there are no layers where the flight base can easily snap, while also remaining as transparent and unobtrusive as possible.
Once printed, use the remaining heat from the print bed to slowly bend it into shape. It should have a slight spring to it when done. A heat gun or hairdryer may warp it too much, so I don't recommend.
The closed ring end is unobtrusive enough to attach to your 28mm or 32mm bases without being too obvious.
The open end is small enough to attach around humanoid character waists, under capes or under arms. If you want a character to stand on it, the flight base may need printed thicker.
