After many years, wanting to give a second life to my flip-clock mechanism (type COPAL GG-2930), removed from the UNITRA DIORA GONG DMP 241 radio, I decided to design and make an enclosure using a 3D printer – finally! :)
The complete enclosure consists of 1x Frame, 1x MainPanel, 2x MiddleWall, 1x EndWall, 1x BackWall parts.
The individual segments I combined with hot glue, the mechanism and BackWall are attached with screws.
The windscreen designed in two optional versions (Glass_a – oval, filling frame, and Glass_b – rectangular, matching hole in the main panel), was made of LEXAN 4mm thick, handmade by a friend locksmith.
Although I had original knobs I did my own in a different color.
