Flow Divert Panel

This is a simple design I carried out of a 3-Port Flow Diversion Panel complimented with manual butterfly valves and Inductive sensors. Flow Diversion Panels go by many names i.e. Switch boards, Transfer panels, flowverters, swing panels etc. What’s yours? Depending on your mode of application or process, you can have as many ports as possible to streamline your process. The role of these panels, is to divert flow from one pipe to another efficiently as the name suggests. It helps prevent the unintentional mixing or sending products down the wrong line. Provision of valves is an option. It allows for opening and shutting of flows before and after the process. Inductive sensors may also be provided for total safety. They help to indicate the position of the elbow/ link connected between the various ports. With this, you have total safety and track of your process line.
