FLOW SIMULATION BOAT SINGLE

Based on the Flow Simulation results on the boat model, the flow of water and air moves from the bow to the stern in a relatively regular pattern following the shape of the hull. A streamlined hull helps reduce drag by directing flow more efficiently, although areas of wake and turbulence still form at the back of the boat which indicate energy loss and increased drag. In water media, the influence of hydrodynamic resistance is more dominant due to direct contact with the hull, whereas in air media aerodynamic resistance is relatively smaller due to the streamlined shape of the boat. Overall, the boat design shows quite good flow performance, but optimization at the stern can still be done to reduce turbulence and increase the efficiency of the boat's movement.
