Based on the CFD simulation results of the ducted propeller in SolidWorks Flow Simulation, it can be seen that the air flow experiences acceleration when passing through the propellers in the duct, with a maximum speed reaching around 50 m/s as indicated by the colors red to yellow. The function of the duct is to direct and focus the flow so that air flows more regularly and reduces energy loss due to the spread of the flow. The flow trajectory pattern shows the formation of a swirling flow behind the propeller due to the effect of blade rotation, while the speed distribution on the cut plot shows that the highest speed is around the propeller and decreases gradually away from that area. The results of this simulation show that the ducted propeller design is able to increase air flow acceleration, produce more effective thrust, and increase the efficiency and stability of the propulsion system.
