I have designed a dodecahedron lamp combining laser cut methacrylate and 3D printing for the joining parts.
Would need to print 20 joint parts, preferably on transparent PLA, and use 60 countersunk M3 /10mm length bolts, and another 60 M3 nuts 2mm height.
For the acrylic I have uploaded nesting files for two A3 sheets (297X420mm). Thickness of the methacrylate shall be 3mm, if thicker the join parts wont fit. Laser engraved on one panel is the url to this website to create a physical link to the 3d models, somehow.
For the lamp I have used a Compact Fluorescent GX53 but there are many LED bulbs compatible to this lamp holder. It serves as a container if turned upside down.
Manufactured at/with the FabLab Barcelona
