This was a simple tubular case I designed when I needed to add some rattle effect to a streamer type fly I created to catch peacock bass where I live. Seems to work well, helps to draw the peacock bass out of hiding to take a closer look and attack the lure. Please see the following setup I used when printing and putting together this 3D print case below.
1. Scale the case part up 135%
2. Scale the cap up 128%
3. You'll need to ensure the Z offset for your printer is close enough that you won't need to use any sort of additional adhesion to the build plate. It may not print well using raft type adhesion.
4. Add 4 pieces of 2.8mm diameter split shots or ball bearings of similar size and cap it. Apply a little sealant to the gaps of the cap to ensure its water tight. I've used super glue and it seems to work well for me.
5. Last but not least, add this when tying your next streamer lure and enjoy.
