General-use fly rod holder with mounting holes. *Also works for spinning rods.*
Holds a wide range of fly rod sizes. Flared top makes it easier to guide butt in; flared bottom prevents fighting butt on larger rod sizes from catching when removing rod.
Mount on wall, board, milk crate (e.g. in fishing kayak) or wherever works.
Includes countersunk screw holes and standoffs to allow mounting to the object of your choice. Mounting holes are spaced 3" on center. Designed to be mounted using #10 flat-head screws; use wood screws to mount on wood surfaces, or machine screws with nuts to mount on thin surface (e.g. metals or plastic) with appropriately-spaced holes. (Screw heads fit inside the rod holder, with screw shafts protruding through to outside of rod holder.) Hexagon-shaped hole on front provides screwdriver access to lower screw.
I've added a second file, "Flyrod_holder_wide_standoffs.stl", which has wider feet on the standoffs to minimize sideways rocking of the holder aga
