Flying Hoop

Prototype flying ring / flying hoop based on Tom Stanton's Flywheel Plane.

Designed to attach to a brushless motor with a 6mm prop adaptor, and be launched at an angle just above horizontal. The ring has an aerofoil shape and small propellor blades which are intended to provide enough thrust for horizontal flight, without slowing the ring down too quickly.

This hasn't been tested and hasn't finished printing yet, so it probably won't work properly / won't fit together in its current state. I'll update it if I have any success!
