Flying Machine Screw Set

Based on my first entry this Handle Bar Tape Fixing uses the screw compression fitting. It has a groove in it to allow for the tape to be drawn in to the handle bar as you press the compression fitting in. Screwing the Allen screw tightens up the rubber stopper preventing the fitting from coming out. Now that you have the tape secure, you can screw the end cap on and with the o-ring in place you are able to clock the logo so it faces the right direction. The o-ring also serves as the resistance that keeps the end cap from unscrewing until you wish to remove it. The compression fitting is made to fit both diameter bars 22.2mm and 23.8mm with a centering lip milled into the piece. The end cap can be used for both sizes. The Finishing ring clamping design is pretty normal, but I did increase its width and sunk the set screw to give it a more finished smoother look. All pieces are able to be CNC milled.
