This thing is used as a bench block to remove the unlocking block pin on the FN 509.
I placed it on a wood block on my garage floor and it worked perfectly.
There are two versions for download. The tall one is high enough to allow the pin to be hammered out completely. The short one, which is what I used to save on print time, allows the pin to be driven out just enough to grab it with pliers. After several 15% infill revisions, the one in the photo came out so well that I forgot to reprint it at a higher infill. It still worked but I recommend a 50% infill because you gotta smack on the pin surprisingly hard to get it to budge.
When reinstalling the pin, I simply place the frame wood. Since the right side of the frame is flat, a jig isn't necessary for pin reinsertion. The 509 is an awesome gun. I've installed the Apex flat trigger as seen in the photo and a few days earlier I installed the MCarbo spring kit. It really brings out the full potential of this gun. Anyways, happy printing
