Foldable eBike

The eBike was designed as part of a design project for a 4th year course at NTU. It has the following specifications: Weight of 26.6 kg 25 km/hr speed Assistive motor drive Half hour runtime Front fork suspension Hydraulic Brake Calipers from Hope Shimano chainsets Hope Brake Disks The bike also comes with front headlights and taillights to address safety concerns. In addition it included an electro permanent magnet based locking mechanism for the wheels. The frame has been designed taking Al 6061-T6 as the material to handle a total loading of 120 kg.
